I’m surprised the courage these young children show in going to school as they do. I’m shocked by the outburst from the parent - I would have hoped adults would know better.
I wonder if being outside society’s norms - like we TG folk are - makes you more open to another’s plight?

I can identify with some of the suffering as I too received similar attention at secondry school although at the time I did not understand why. I didnt dress as a girl, although I secretly wanted to. I found out years later that they thought I was gay.

I’m glad the girl in the story survived…I probably wouldn’t have!
I made 3 attempts through the years without any of the problems she was facing, let alone any of the added motivation she was given…I can’t imagine!
That anyone would teach their children that this is proper behavior towards anyone is beyond the pale…
