I don't know about you, but as a TGirl I used to find it could be a bit tricky obtaining the clothes I wanted.
Difficulties can include:
- Keeping the whole affair a secret, may be from the wife, girlfriend or family
- Choosing the right sizes
- Picking the right colours
- The embarrassment of approaching the sales assistants
- How to change something that doesn't fit
- And so the list goes on...
However, if you're a seasoned shopper with the confidence to go out and buy what you want, then you'll probably want to move on to the other sections to find out if you've missed out on anywhere that can help you part with your hard-earned cash.
Of course, for a lot of TGirls secrecy is a necessity and once the clothes are purchased other problems such as hiding them can be a logistical nightmare. Particularly when the wardrobe grows, as it will enevitably do so as your confidence grows.
Quite often if I go out to a place where I can change the size and weight of my suitcase is an endless source of mirth to the other girls. But so what if it brings a ray of sunshine into their lives.
Funnily enough, I got dressed last month before leaving home to go to a North Notts Trans Action meeting, so I left the suitcase at home - whether I'll do that again I don't know!
