Fortunately, lots of men buy lingerie for their partners so it's not an unusual situation for a shop assistant to find her/himself in. So you won't need to be embarrassed about buying.
Personally, I don't have many such items, in fact the only one I recall buying was in Anne Summers, a teddie, not very sexy either, but there you go - nice and warm!
And no! I'm not collecting my pension yet.
Again your own situation is going to dictate what options are open to you. Personally, I like the Argos Additions mail order system, because you can pick up items in a plain wrapped plastic bag from your local store, and there is no description on the outside of the bag - no embarrassment factor.
Also, a nice touch, Argos calls you to let you know the items are ready for collection. Added to that you can delay payment without incurring interest charges.
Only downside seems to be a limited range of clothes on offer, but then any TGirl could be accused of being unreasonable on the count. :)
Oh, and one other thing, you do have a statement posted to you, so if you intend the fact to remain a secret in your household you'll need to be up early to get the post first! If you don't have that problem it's a great way to shop.
