In the Beginning
Well, Guys 'n Gals this is no "Road to Damascus" experience. What you have is a text book case of a young (5/6 yr old) boy, who started checking out his mother's underwear draws as you do when you're bored and at a loose end.
Why, don't ask me? All I can say is it felt incredibly exciting, risky (not risque - didn't know what that meant) and exhilerating!
But it didn't stop there, oh no no no no no, next came the shoe cupboard and those adorable red patent leather 3" high heels. Don't you just love that red shiny, almost wet look.
I thought they were the height of femininity, what's more I couldn't think of a better way of enjoying myself. At this stage the feelings of elation and trepidation (and lack of guilt) kept me on a "high" for days after just thinking about the experience.
Next came the corsets and stockings (couldn't work out what the suspenders were for). It's a funny thing, but I couldn't take to the tights in those days, but the feel of nylons was oh so delightful and smooth to the touch.
Well that was great for quite a while, but then I noticed my older sister starting to use make-up, and I would surreptiously watch her making up in the bathroom mirror. And this is what led to my discovery. I just couldn't resist the perfumed smell of her lipstick, and just had to try it for myself. To this day I can vividly recall getting the opportunity to "borrow" it and nip into the bathroom, door locked, to apply it's silky, sweet smelling, creamy softness to my lips.
That was great, short of breaking down the door nobody would have been any the wiser. But muggins here had to go and forget to put it back, left it on the window sill, and had my 17 year old sister come into my bedroom (shared with my younger sister who was three years older than me) later that night, to ask me if I wanted to try on her skirts and blouses. Somehow, I sensed it would be rash to accept the offer.
Extreme caution came as standard after that; this guy realised your average "normal" person didn't think it very cool to dress in the clothes of the opposite sex. In fact, they appear to have an irrational aversion to the whole idea!
