Petition to Support Transgender Teacher

I don’t often get political, so may be this once you’ll forgive me!

I received the following email; please read and consider signing the petition – thanks.

Ben Thom PFC Vice President writes as follows:

Once a public body makes a mistake especially one proven in court it is
surely better that they are completely transparent and take ownership of the
wrong that was committed in this case against Natasha, by demonstrating a
due regard to process and procedural fairness. Brighton and Hove has much to
offer the LGBT community, but you cannot put the genie back in the bottle ­
so the best solution is to own up and come clean. PFC readers may well feel
like encouraging them by supporting the petition below:

A cross party petition has been set up to get Brighton & Hove City Council
to disclose the Public Interest question of how much Public Money they spent
fighting two un-winnable Employment Tribunal cases against Natasha Thoday, a
transgender teacher. She was supported by the Equalities and Human Rights
Commission in her 4-year fight to get an employment reference. If you have

shame of the Council’s cover-up is rapidly spreading nationally and is cross
