Very weird. Site gets upgraded to WP v2.7 and transferred to new server. After database gremlins get evicted it all works fine.
Several days later, try to login and no joy, won’t let me in, barred from the admin system. Make several attempts. Give up with mental note to come back to fix it when I have more time (ha ha).
Just returned to site and think, ‘Why not make another attempt to login?’ And hey presto it works!
OK, so next time I may not be so lucky. Don’t trust things when they “fix themselves.”
We’ll see.
Money’s tight, clients not coughing up, ergo no spending money – no BNO, Manchester gay village or club subversion I was thinking of going to as catwoman. Ain’t life a bummer sometimes? Someone I spoke to said BNO was quiet this month. Is it the “January Blues”, “Credit Crunch” or both?

@Sophie I know this is going to sound like I’m a “doom and gloom” merchant, but I can only see it getting worse for small businesses, as it filters down from the “big boys.” We’ll just have to hold on tight.

Wondered where the hell you’d gone.
From experience I would say that this recession is going to go on and on, probably more than 3 years because it is so severe and many small businesses will go down. I hope I am wrong.
So I will have that drink!
Actually went for a quick drink tonight with some real girls and they introduced me to Bellini- champagne & peach with a cherry at the bottom (no silly! Of the glass). It was superb.

@Gabby Have to agree with you on timescales for the recession.
More computer problems have delayed further posting – does it never end? Still, you can’t keep a good guy down. Or should that be a fool never knows when to give up?
