Bloody well back again
Had a really relaxing week away in Catalonia, with the family. Scotched the idea of nipping over the border to see my sister in the Haute-Languedoc as that would have been a ten hour round trip, and a 50 euro hike in insurance premiums.
Instead, my daughters went boy stalking, I got through Griff Rhys Jones’ autobiography – what a nostalgic trip down memory lane. He’s the same age as my other sister.
And generally relaxing, not making the mistake of dashing about here there and everywhere to get a fill of culture. Did enjoy the sights of Barcelona, though.
Not my favourite country, but then wasn’t the Costa Brava where the package holiday industry started? But don’t get me wrong, the natives were very friendly, and was it my imagination, but I think the driving standards are leagues ahead of UK.
But now having been back in this country for less than four hours I’m in the most foul of moods. Living with three members of the opposite sex isn’t always easy. Picture this… you put yourself out big time for one of them, and then get ganged up on by all three for the good deed your were trying to do.
I’m just so steamed up right now I’d better leave well alone.
And Lynne believe me when I say the time isn’t right for those 8 facts, just give me time to calm down.
