BNO 20
I was supposed to be somewhere else Friday evening, but realised all my gurly gear was down at Vanessa’s, and the thought of driving down there then back over to Derby was all too much. And as the gurl in question and I hadn’t confirmed the details I, rather guiltily, decided to go to BNO instead.
This meant mentioning the trip the night before to my wife who in her usual supportive way just looked a bit put out, but didn’t make a fuss about it. TBH, part of my reason for such a late decision to go was down to a severe financial crap situation - but I won’t bore the little cotton socks off your feet about that. Let’s just say the decision was the right one if only that it succeeded in raising my spirits - massively. That and the fact that V picked up the tab for the evening and all I had to do was find the petrol money to get to Kettering.
As on previous occasions, I didn’t get away in time and ended up being late, but then with two accidents on the A14 V was late too, so we ended up arriving at her flat within minutes of each other.
Of course, as I’d left the decision to go ’til the night before I had all the hair removal to do at V’s. Yup, Rachel makes us late again. That and the fact that the prom dress I’d intended wearing would’nt stay up due to having lost a few pounds (wayhey!). So all change, and I fell back on a fifties style strapless dress. There will be photos added to this entry, but later. That’s another story I’ll tell you about later. BTW, if you’re a size 14 and looking for a deep red satin prom dress let me know - I’ll have to get togged up and take a piccie, but you’ll have to imagine yourself in it to do it justice.
As we were running so late and because this was the first proper trip in V’s new Jag XK (4.2 litre V8 coupe) she put it through its paces for me. Speeds attained will be a closely guarded secret, but what I will say is… AWESOME! And on the way there we didn’t even go into sport mode.
Because we were so late getting there, we had to park well away from Pink Punters and walk. Boy was I glad V lent me a coat! We headed for the attic and Siobhan (of Tranniefesto fame) motioned me over. We exchanged a few pleasantries, but I found it a bit awkward, made my excuses and moved over to the bar. Anyway, she seems to have had an eventful evening, according to her blog, but I didn’t see her again.
Last month, I talked to gurls all evening, but this month it seems to have been all girls, with them initiating the conversations. So hi to Linda and her girlfriend, and a gurlfriend of theirs, Gina. After that, V and I went down to the dancefloor and boogied to some 80’s numbers. OK, they may have been cheesy, but at least even I with my non-existent sense of rythem could follow the beat. Once the music hit a more modern flavour we returned to the attic where we met another bunch of people. Hi, Chryssy, Michelle and your flat-mate whose name I can’t remember - well I think I was at Bacardi and Coke number 6 by then so please forgive me.
But they were a lovely bunch, and what with the drink inside me fuelling a much more tactile Rachel I really chilled out. A little later V got talking to Jett, and I ended up chatting to her gorgeous girlfriend whose name, I think, was Lark, given name anyway. She had short skirt with skull and crossbones on her bum and black corset. She claimed to be a 10 but I reckon probably a 6 or 8. We ended up paying each other loads of complements, and it all got quite touchy-feeley, but in a nice way. She kept apologising for being pervy with me (her words, not mine) while I just enjoyed the whole experience. But look, it wasn’t a groping session, it was just, well nice in a flirty sort of way.
We ended up swapping shoes (we’re the same size). She had these platform black patent type shoes, open-toed, with a bow on the front and long, long ribbons that wrapped round the ankle several times. It was great fun taking them off her, and as soon as I’d got them on I escaped for a wonder round - really, really comfortable. She wasn’t so impressed with mine as although they were only two-and-a-half-inch heels they were still stilettoes, which she wasn’t keen on. I can’t remember what designer label hers were, but it registered they wouldn’t have been cheap.
I remember Lark insisting I put her shoes back on her, and I found it quite sensual, tying up the ribbons round her ankles - silly old fart that I am! Which reminds me Lark was quite right when she asserted women were far more sensual than men. Which would certainly be one very good reason why I dress in women’s clothing - I love the feeling of sensuality that I just don’t get from wearing men’s clothes.
Anyway, we took quite a few photos of the group, but I left the camera on the table when we left so I’ll have to post them here once I’ve picked up the camera from Pink Punters - some kind soul handed it in, whoever you are let me know and I’ll buy you a drink.
And finally, Chryssy, thanks for letting me know the camera had been handed in to “lost property”. :) Oh, and Michelle, loved that gorgeous corset.
And really the final thing, Julie you missed a great evening - another time maybe?
